Having searched for a used car for my little sister for a while, we decided to pop into the dealership and have a look to see if she was even interested in a Subaru. We were approached by Hamid and he went on to answer all of our questions and concerns. His kind demeanor was a nice surprise not your typical pushy salesman. We did not end up purchasing a car(sis didnt care for the Subaru look) ;however, for those who are on the market for a Subaru...this dealership is highly recommended and Hamid customer service was fabulous!
I just bought my first new car at Stevens Creek Subaru. It was a pleasant experience. I felt that the salesman Hamid was really looking out for my best interest and not trying to sell me something I did not want. He was patient with me and very thorough in explaining all of my options. I had been to a lot of dealerships on Stevens Creek and this was one of the best experiences I have had from the beginning all the way to dealing with finance at the end. I would definitely buy from them again and the entire experience kept me excited about buying a new car as opposed to being super stressed.
This review is for the sales department. Just like the average consumer nowadays, I went online and emailed a few dealerships within 50 miles around my area and looked for the quote that would give me the best deal. I was looking for a 2014 base hatchback impreza wrx as I do not like how the new 2015 look. Anyways, Robert, the Internet Sales rep emailed me a quote which I was comfortable with and better than the other ones. Came here on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't too busy which is great for a consumer. I met with him and told him my situation as I come with a trade-in and we quickly talked numbers as I had my mind up and didn't need to see other models and trims. The "negotiation" part was a little frustrating at first as he told me that they're selling me their last white wrx and there's a 3K markup from the original quoted price. I was immediately appalled and tho I wanted the car I was ready to step out without hesitation. However, Robert was very sincere and "fought" for our price and I paid not a single cent more than what I was quoted for. I was even able get my APR lowered as I knew I had Excellent credit to begin with. Nonetheless, tho it took an hour or so. We came up with a price I was comfortable with for my trade-in and other terms. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and I spent weeks researching and looking up forums regarding what's reasonable and what's not for the car I want. Bottom line: it's a dealership. It's a business. They need to make money. I know buying a brand new car to some people may be unreasonable due to the quick depreciation in value and little return. But overall, I felt great leaving on my own terms and with the car I've always wanted all along and this dealership made it happen. Worth the 45 min drive! Also, I received follow up calls from Chip who showed me the perks of my new car and Jason, the finance guy. Thanks guys!
Very friendly, inviting, comfortable waiting room, decent prices for the work done. I had my reservations about going to them because if yelp reviews, but I'm glad I did. I had a better experience with them than the other Subaru dealership I went to in this area.
After a series of emails with Mandy, their Customer Relations Manager, I'm giving Stevens Creek Subaru a one-star upgrade. She contacted me shortly after I posted my review, requested additional information about my experience, and offered to rectify the situation. Unfortunately for them, I have already purchased a vehicle elsewhere. But her reaching out to me is commendable and I feel that the dealership is sincere about trying to prevent future situations like this. Class act.
My initial experience dating back to jan 2013 wasnt the best after buying a 12 sport premium impreza. I already wrote a review on here for it but im on my phone app and am not sure if it will automatically link them together. To make that long story short, I felt that the salesman was only interested in the sale. After going over the financing I find that the salesman had already left even though I had more questions. It didnt seem like anyone else wanted to help sense I wasnt their sale. I cant completely blame the salesman sense I knew that dealership environments create this dog eat dog world of constant pressure of sales! Anywho, this is my good review so let me get to it. I go into the dealer to get my sport premium's oil changed and decided to inquire about the forrester and the crosstrek. Matt helped me out and was there to answer all of my questions. Yes, he wants u to buy a car, but isnt to pushy about it. After telling him that i would be interested in a 2013 crosstrek he goes over the numbers to see if it would he something I was interested in. After telling him that I had no intentions of buying a car that day, he works out a great deal where I'd only spend an xtra $25/month for the crosstrek. Ended up leaving that day with the desert khaki crossteek xv! Great job matt! His customer service was awesome. He even insisted on taking off my license frame to install on my new car; and he moved my sub box(50lbs or so). After talking to a couple of people there, it seems like they are trying to really turn a new leaf after all the bad reviews theyve seen on yelp. Good job, I enjoyed my experience. I left off a star because they didnt switch my sport mesh front grill that cost me $279 to my new crosstrek for me after saying I'd half to pay $180 for 30mins of labor lol..YEAH, RIGHT! !
