What's in a Chip@f0 Plenty if you're looking at sales guy Chip Miller at Stevens Creek Subie. I took my Forester in for an oil change and drove away in a priced-right 2014 Crosstrek with the hole in the roof for stargazing and lovely leathah seats. How did this happen? Chip and I just started chatting about cars. Then we went for a test drive and I fell in love with an irresistable, shiny red Crosstrek. Chip was amazingly helpful, patient, non-pushy and knowledgeable. He was straight-up honest, really worked to get me a terrific price (I was brutal and kept sending him back to Mgmt to get a better deal), then provided a tutorial and spent as much time as I needed to get to know the car. This is my 3rd Subie from this dealership. The first 2 experiences were simply horrible but that has changed. It was actually fun buying this beauty with Chip.

I purchased a WRX from Stevens Creek back in 2008 and it was Sooo much fun... Sadly back in October someone decided to do a U turn in front of me and my little car flipped over!! Because Subarus are AMAZING- I walked away with only a tiny bruise from my seatbelt and a little shaken (a little...). So I decided to go back and look at more incredible (life-saving) Subarus! I had my heart set on a manual and Shane Amirkiai found a Crosstrek and a Forester (on his day off) for me to test drive. As we drove around my dad and I asked all sorts of questions and Shane responded honestly and openly, telling us his opinion and also helped me (very-indecisive-first-time-buying-my-own-car-twenty-five-year-old) compare and contrast and make an informed and confident decision! I gave him a call the following morning and that afternoon we sat in my new blue manual Crosstrek and he taught me about ALL of the cool things in the car... including setting up speed dial to call my boyfriend. My husband and I bought a 2014 Subaru Forester from Shane on Black Friday. Shane and I had been emailing prior to my ever setting foot in the dealership, and we'd already worked out a price I was happy with, so I was able to completely avoid the negotiation stage I had been dreading. It was a huge relief for me that Shane was so helpful via email ahead of time. The whole process still took some time while we were on-site, but Shane completely honored the deal we'd already worked out and didn't try to pressure us into adding any extra options or upgrading or any other stuff we didn't want. The service department did a great job of buffing out a couple scratches we noticed the car had acquired while in the lot, and we drove off very happy in our shiny new car. Even though it was Black Friday and they were undoubtedly swamped, it seemed to us like we had Shane's full attention the whole time we were there. If he was simultaneously juggling other customers, like we experienced at another dealership when we went in for a test drive, we never even noticed. Jason in the finance department was also really friendly and helpful, even using a personal contact from our credit union to help get our financing pushed through when the CU was closed for the semi-holiday. All in all a good experience, and completely not as bad as I was expecting for my first car-buying experience!
If you want to buy a car, and don't want to waste all day doing it, head to Stevens Creek Subaru where I was driving away in a new car in about 3 hours. I'd expected to be gone for 6 to 8 hours easily, but the team at Stevens Creek Subaru was very efficient.
Took my 2013 Outback in for its regularly scheduled maintenance. I purchased the Full Maintenance Program when I purchased my car so I didn't have to pay for anything! My service advisor, Matt Samut, is always very kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. I rode my bike home and my husband dropped me off later to pick up my car when it was done so I didn't utilize the shuttle service and I didn't wait in the waiting area long. The shop did a great job with the car wash too! I really enjoyed my experience at Stevens Creek Subaru.
