Very satisfied with my service at Stevens Creek Subaru. You need to ask for Mike Marsh by name! He made an excellent offer online via email then after a fun test drive was able to get me the price I wanted on the car I wanted. RJ & Mike made a great team and I am very satisfied. Compared to other dealerships they really went out of their way to make a deal! See them & remember ask for MIKE MARSH by name! He'll take care of you & what you want! It's worth the drive to go here!
I am giving this place 3 stars because I have had 3 bad experiences here in the past just trying to buy/look at a car. However about 2 weeks ago this changed the bad taste they left with me when I went with my bf to look at STi's and I only went because: 1) The bf is too nice and I knew that the sales men were going to rip him off 2) I worked in the auto industry and I know how much the mark up for extended warranties and such are and if the bf was to make a purchase, no way in hell was I going to let him do this alone. We were initially disappointed because the 1 used STi on the lot that they had advertised with many options was false when we actually saw the car, it didn't have a few things that the online ad stated. I at first questioned the bf and made him pull up the ad for me on his phone to look at. Sure enough, false advertisement by Stevens Creek Subaru. I was hesitant on the pricing because I knew that the car as a lease return in pristine condition with extremely low miles (2011 STi with only 16k miles!) the dealership got it for a really great price. I knew the mark up was about 5-6k. Plus they had the car advertised at a price for a car that had more options. They wouldn't budge from the advertised price or work with us on anything. So I told thanked them for their time, and walked out. The salesman came after me and asked to meet in the middle. It took some back and forth and some negotiation, but we eventually agreed on a price. The bf is extremely happy with his purchase and I am happy too because not only did we get the car at a great price, but our sales guy and the used car manager were engaging and knew how to drive a hard bargain with me. Once they knew I was in the business, they knew they couldn't pull a fast one on me. The finance portion was a pain as they made us wait an hour+ to sign docs and the sales manager came in and lectured us on car maintenance. We were paying cash up front for the car and told the finance person that and also that we weren't interested in purchasing any warranties. This didn't stop them from their sales pitch for EVERY SINGLE warranty/extended option.
If you're looking to buy a Subaru, go to Stevens Creek Subaru in San Jose and ask for HAMID MARHAMAT. My daughter and I have been looking for a car since December and always felt like we were getting taken advantage of by evil car salesmen. When we walked onto the Subaru lot, Hamid greeted us with his genuinely warm smile and asked what we were looking for. I was ready to "settle" for just a Mazda 2, even though I really and truly wanted a Subaru Forrester. When I told Hamid this, he exclaimed, "What you really want is an Impreza!" I thought I had done my homework, but I had never considered the Impreza--a perfect mix of station wagon and hatchback. Not too big, great on gas, plus room for all my organizing supplies. We took a test drive and I fell in love with the car (and Hamid). He walked us through the whole process and gave us the lowest price possible. He worked with my less than stellar credit and even threw in a few extras, as well as bottles of water and a root beer! If you want to buy a Subaru, don't just go to any salesman--go directly to Hamid Marhamat at Stevens Creek Subaru. Not only does he have a welcoming smile and a warm laugh, he genuinely cares about his customers and tries to get them the best deal possible. Even though he's only 5'7" tall, he stands head and shoulders above any car salesmen in there, or in the whole Bay Area, or in the whole planet.
I bought a 2014 Forester from Shane Amirkiai and R.J. They are very helpful and provided a good price. Shane Amirkiai showed me all their inventory and is patient for any questions I got. R.J. is the man who offered me $400 off at the last moment to stop me shopping around:) It's a good shopping experience!
I was driving along Stevens Creek when I spotted a BBQ. I flipped a U and stopped by for a burger, water, and chips. I also checked out the BRZ drag racing car on display. Subaru, Thanks for lunch!
I did my research online and Mike Marsh Internet Sales manager got back to me with a attractive offer on Subaru Outback. Mike was excellent with listening to my requirements. He made the car buying process as easy as possible. I recommend working with Mike Marsh.
