BEST Car Dealership Experience Ever! We (my roommate Al and I) recently leased a new, 2013 Subaru Impreza, from Stevens Creek Subaru. Both the car, and the extensive amount of personalized attention that the dealership paid us, was amazing. Al specifically says: In all my 58 years, I've owned 12 cars, 6 of which I purchased brand new from auto dealers in IL, and CA. These consisted of a factory ordered 1974 Chevrolet Camaro LT; 3 new Pontiac Trans Am's a (1976; a 1978; and a 1986, two bought off the lot, and one factory ordered); a factory ordered Honda Accord LX; and finally an off the lot 1993 Toyota Camry XLE. When my 20 year old Toyota became irreparable, Stevens Creek Subaru helped my roommate and I to select and structure a new car deal that worked within the time and budget constraints we were under. Our salesman, Manny, his manager, the finance manager, the repair shop manager, and the owner of the dealership all made great efforts to see that we were attended to in every way possible. And, not one of my previous cars approach the comfort, handling, and options of my newly leased Subaru Impreza. While at their dealership, we were asked repeatedly if we needed anything, and were treated as well as I've ever been by any dealership. Our whole experience was handled professionally, yet with a genuine family-like feel. I would definitely recommend both the automobile and Stevens Creek Subaru to anyone looking for a new or used car.

First off let me just tell you, I dont know about any of the other salesmen but if you request GLEN, he will probably be the best guy to deal with. I came in looking around for a WRX and was a bit skeptical because of the lack of variety they had on the floor. Fortunately enough, I dealt with a guy named Glen. I told him what I wanted and that I'm very particular about what I want in my car especially if I'm about to drop 30k for a car. Unfortunately, the first day I went to see the lot, there wasnt any of the WRX's that I was interested in. So I told Glen that if he found exactly the right color, and specifications, then be sure to call me back and let me know. Exactly a week later, I get a phone call from Glen, telling me that theres a WRX that he received that he wants me to check out. So I go there, and sure enough there was a car that I was really interested in. Everything about the car was what I wanted except for the lack of the dimming rear-view mirror. I told Glen that this was a necessity and he was able to hook it up free of charge. As for dealing with the other sales managers and store managers, I did feel like they were a bit of a grease ball, and that they were just there to make money off of me. So you can be your own judge on that. The sole reason why I'm giving this 4 stars is for Glen. He is genuinely there to help you find the right car. He even called me back a few times to see if I'm satisfied with my purchase. His motto is that your are his customer forever and not just a one time customer that he wont care about after buying that car. So my advice, ask for Glen.

I went in with a special pass -- a VIP agreement between Subaru and my professional society (Geological Society of America). Damn, did I get the VIP treatment. Nice long test drive, a saleseman (Kash) who has been there 12 years and knew everything, and a perfectly decent price. The actual car I wanted was "in transit", and we signed an agreement including a long-term warranty. When I went back to pick up the car, I had decided I didn't want the long-term warranty, and it was taken off the agreement without argument. Lots of emails after the purchase to the point of "are you happy? Can we make things better?" A couple of days after I bought it, I took it on a hot day on a longish drive and the Check Tire Pressure light came on. Husband checked the tire pressure the next morning when the car was cold, and the tires were all badly OVERinflated. After that he checked all the fluid levels, but they were fine. I wrote the salesman (who is a manager) and asked him to harass the prep crew to get the inflation right. I do have a maintenance agreement, though, but looking through other YELP reviews I might take it to Capitol Subaru...

Mark is your man! He is honest, straight forward, and not like your typical pushy salesman. I contacted him by phone and we made arrangements to meet on superbowl Sunday! Mark made sure the car fit my needs and not once did he try to push a more expensive model on me.

I bought my SO at this dealership, and have been taking my car here for regular service for a couple of years. However, I'm calling it quit and taking my car else where for service. The service reps are nice, but the mechanics (at least the ones doing oil change) are terrible. When I first bought the car, I also purchased the Teflon package. So I left the car there over night for the Teflon coating. However, when I went to pick up the car, I noticed they detailed the car but didn't applied the Teflon coating as promised. The sales rep checked, confirmed, and I had to leave the car there for an additional day for the job to be done right. This is a clear indication that I should take my car else where, but I thought it could be an honest mistake.Over the 2 years that I've taken my car to Stevens Creek Subaru for regular service, they've forgotten to put the oil cap back on, didn't change the service sticker, and among others. The final straw for me was this last service, where they didn't tighten the oil pan nut. So oil was leaking all over my driveway. I took it back and they fixed it, but I had to really cleanup all the oil leaked on my driveway. My Outback is about due for major services, such as brakes and tune-ups, as it's nearing 45K. My question is if they can't do a simple oil service right consistently, how can I trust them to take care of the more important services. The answer is I can't. So I'm going else where.I took my Outback to another dealership today and request a history of the services done on my car. It turns out, that the folks at Stevens Creek Subaru didn't complete all the items they were supposed to do, and some are done out of order. This is alarming to me. So my recommendation to Stevens Creek Subaru owner, is to evaluate and revamp the service dept. to get it in order. I'm also recommending other Subaru owners to take their vehicle else where, until Stevens Creek Subaru dealership have fixed the service dept and is more reliable/dependable.

Overall experience of purchasing my first Subaru was a great one. The sales representative was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to a friend or family member. Keep up the good work.
