Ben, Shane, Timothy were great to work with. There wasn't much negotiation on their part as they originally gave a great price and even offered to buy us a sushi dinner! I don't expect sushi dinner all the time but it was a nice gesture. We will definitely be recommending people to Stevens Creek Subaru. We are new to the Subaru family and are really excited about our new car. They have a large used car lot as well. Good luck in shopping.
Recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Ali, the sales rep, was helpful and friendly, enjoyed working with him. Minus one star though because due to whatever reason, the finance guy tried to have me sign a loan without even discussing rates with me or letting me know that was what I was signing despite me telling them I was already pre-approved on another loan. Had to ask him why he had put down a predetermined rate without my knowledge before he would negotiate rates with me.
Although I purchased my Outback at Capitol Subaru, I wish I had purchased at Stevens Creek Subaru. Each and every time I drop my car off for service, I am treated like I am the only customer in the service lobby. Customer service is my passion, not only do I strive to provide the utmost quality and superior customer service in my professional life, in my personal life I expect the same level. Not many places meet this level, but I have to say, Matt Sammut and the rest service staff are about as good as it gets. Avoiding service for my car like the plague was so easy in the past, with my Outback I love going and dropping my car off for service. Looking for a Subaru or your next one, if not dropping off for service, I recommend Stevens Creek Subaru.
I sent out "quote requests" for three different "small SUV's" over the Memorial Day weekend. Didn't visit any dealerships that Memorial Day weekend; being fearful of the the large crowds. Decided to go test drive the different vehicles this past weekend and started with Stevens Creek Subaru (who had the lowest quote of the three dealerships that I had requested quotes from). Went there even though I had heard some negative comments with regards to their sales people. Called Matt Kanawyer, who had sent me the quote, to schedule an appointment to test drive a Forester. When I arrived, Matt was busy with another customer and had Shane Amirkiai, also an Internet Sales Manager, assist us. We went out on a test drive and Shane was very informative; knew just everything, that we asked, about the vehicle. We then sat and he asked what it would take to sell us the vehicle. I did not have any intentions of buying the vehicle but was curious about what they would give for my trade in. He had his people look at it and came back with a quote that was "half" of what AutoNation (an online used car dealer) had offered to buy my car for. I mentioned ths to Shane and he asked if I had a copy of the quote to use as a "leverage tool" with his manager. Shane and I went on-line and retrieved the quote and Shane took it to his manager. They came back with a higher offer but lower than what AutoNation had quoted. Since we had not planned to purchase a vehicle right away and wanted to test drivr the other models we decide to leave. Shane, after talking to his manager again, asked what it would take and we reitterated that we wanted the "quoted" trade-in estimate. the internet price and a cargo cover. Low and behold his manager was amenable and we ended up purchasing the car. This whole process took less than an hour and a half. Of course working out all the paper work took another hour. Overall the experience was better than I have ever had with any dealership. There was minimal negotiation and Shane was very up front. After they prepped the car, Shane spent time walking us through the different "gadgets" in the car and programed the Blue Tooth for my wife and I. This was a surprise since, in the past, a dealer would, typically, "just" hand you the keys and owners manual letting you "figure" it out when you got home. Shane called us that evening and again the next day to ask if we had any questions or issues. Again, this was also a first for us receiving this kind of follow-up. We highly recommend Stevens Creek Subaru and Shane Amirkiai.
My husband and I just moved to the Bay area and just like any new resident our search for a new car had begun. After being guided by friends we started emailing and setting up appointments for Test driving different vehicles and that is how our journey began. We visited many car dealers and the service was getting from bad to worse. Our last test drive for that day was with Subaru for the Legacy. We were greeted by Matthew Kanawyer who had been in touch with my husband. He was extremely sweet to us and told us to let us know if we were interested. What we liked about Matthew was that, unlike the other sales representatives he was not pushy and was not trying to boss around during the test drive. He was suggesting for us to take a left/right/ a u turn and not bossing around or directing us. His sweetness did not end here. The next day we returned to finally know the financing options but by then we had decided to buy a SUV. He was patient and told us he would be willing to drive us around and also let us know the financing options. We came back after the test drive and just as we were walking through the rows of cars, the Subaru Crosstrek caught my attention. This is it ! This is my car. We asked him how much it was for and he was patient with us after having spent 2 hours already and almost filling out forms for the Forester. He offered to let us test drive the crosstrek too. We were so impressed. Finally after being indecisive for over 4 days we got our car and it was thanks to Mat at Subaru Steven's Creek. The other places we went to were not even willing to listen to us. One of the sales representative at the Toyota showroom actually told us that we can not afford such cars probably because we ended up going there in our workout wear! Well our current car cost us the same amount so someone's loss is Subaru's gain. Sometimes I feel customer service matters a lot and in this case it made it enjoyable and easy for us to make a big investment. Thanks to Subaru and thanks to Matthew Kanawyer for amazing customer service.
Yesterday my husband and I went to Stevens Creek Subaru with no concrete intentions of purchasing a car. He had been e-mailing one of the sales team members (Matthew Kanawyer) for a couple of days and was interested in what he would get as a trade-in for his current leased car. He did not think that the numbers would even come close to what he was expecting but surprisingly they did! We ended up leaving with the car my husband had his heart set on for a very reasonable price. Thanks to Matthew for not wasting our time and helping us get a deal that we could be happy with.
