I have gone to the service department here for years (Chris is the BEST)!!! And now, I just had a great experience with the sales department. I know I got the best deal possible, and they did not let me leave until I was happy - Seriously. They sales guy was Ben, and the manager was Andreas. They were awesome...and for a single mother to feel this way, is a big thing. Thank you Steven's Creek Subaru.
If this review was only about our salesperson, Ben, it would be five stars. When we went in to look at a new Forester, Ben was the one to greet us. He showed us the model we wanted to look at, demonstrated all the car's features, let us take a test drive and gave us his card. When we said we were also looking at other cars, there was no pressure to buy, no mention of "what can I do to put you in this car today", no negative comments about similar cars on the market. So when we decided on the Forester we made an appointment with Ben. We discussed the exact car we wanted and he found it. Unfortunately, the negotiation regarding price was not as pleasant with Ben going back and forth between us and an unseen manager. Ben kept his composure, even when the manager appeared and made a number of false claims about the car we wanted. In the end, we made our purchase for a decent price. Ben was very helpful through all of it and when we picked up the car after it had been detailed, he went over the car with us very thoroughly, went through the car literature and made sure everything was in order. He definitely earned his commission. If you are looking for a car at Stevens Creek Subaru, I would definitely ask for Ben. He has excellent knowledge of the cars he is selling, but more importantly, he is a man with a lot of integrity.
I've shopped for cars for 50 years, and this was clearly the best experience I've ever had. Knowing the specs we wanted and with prearranged financing, an enthusiastic and genuinely helpful Matt Kanawyer took us ton a road test to ensure the specific vehicle we had tlocated and priced using Consumer Reports' online service. Matt patiently answered questions from my wife and me. The closer, Wais, took us quickly through the obligatory presentation and our refusal of the add on packages as we briskly completed the paperwork. We were on our way home in a shiny, well detailed car in about two hours. Matt's friendliness, patience and attention to our needs was a key factor in our satisfaction, and little touches, such as full gas tank, exceeded our expectations. Most of the comments I've read here relate to difficulties involved with price and product negotiations. I can't speak to that, but for us who had done our homework, Matt and the team were terrific.

I just recently bought a 2014 Subaru Forester from this dealer. My current car was showing its mileage and I was in the market to trade up. I had been doing test drives all day at other dealers and was off to test the Forester, the last car on my list of potential new vehicles. I had originally intended on going to a dealer in Redwood City, but since I was in the area I decided to save some time. Chip -- my sales guy -- was knowledgeable, friendly, and best of all realized how important this decision was to me. After all, a purchase this big isn't easy to make. There was only one problem, they didn't have the car I wanted. They had a 2014 Forester, but I wanted a specific one. I had already determined the trim package, the options, and the color. If I was going to spend that much money, I was going to get exactly what I wanted. So I test drove a comparable vehicle, enjoyed the experience, and then we hunted down a vehicle that they could transfer over to the inventory. I couldn't have been happier with my decision for the vehicle, and I'm glad I stopped by this dealer. Now, for full disclosure, there was a small delay on the delivery of my vehicle due to some paperwork mishap (not by Chip though) so I am going to dock a star. But Chip pulled through, got my vehicle delivered, and even threw in an extra tank of gas after I ran out of the first one for my troubles. If you're in the market for a Subaru, I would highly recommend checking this dealer out and asking for Chip. If he can't get you the Subaru you want, you'll have a hell of a time anywhere else.
I was so impressed with Stevens Creek Subaru that I just had to create a Yelp account to review these guys. I had been shopping for an Impreza Sport for weeks and was ready to go down to LA to pick up an Impreza Sport that I found to be the best deal. I was hesitant to contact Stevens Creek Subaru based on some of their Yelp reviews, but at the last minute I decided to contact them and I was pleasantly surprised with the overall service and quality of this dealership. Masood sent me an e-mail back with a price that no other dealership could come close to. After receiving my awesome price quote, I went into the dealership that same evening to purchase my new car. Masood was very pleasant to work with and so was the man I worked with in the financing department. Two weeks after purchasing my car I had to call Stevens Creek Subaru's service department because somebody had rear ended me in my new baby! The woman I spoke to in the service department was very helpful and went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be going to Stevens Creek Subaru for all of my Subaru needs!
