My husband and I were interested in looking into getting another Subaru, we both own one however my husband was in need of a new car. We went to the Capitol Subaru near our house and had horrible service, the salesman did not want to spend the time to allow us to test drive the three cars we had in mind. He did not want to work with us because we were not planning on purchasing that day. So we drove to the Steven Creek's Subaru and we were approached by Rich Finegan, and he was wonderful! He spent the time to inform us about each car we were interested in, and then allowed us to test drive the car that we were most interested in. During the test drive we got to know Rich, he spent the time to getting to know us, and truly cared about us and the car we wanted. We returned to the dealership and he offered to allow us to drive the other car, however we had both decided that was the car we wanted. Rich did not pressure us to buy, he gave us his card and told us if we had any questions to give him a call. We left the dealership feeling good, I told my husband when we bought our next car, we were going back and buying it from Rich. My husband and I got home and discussed our options and when we would want to buy the car, after a long talk we decided that we were going to buy it that weekend. I called Rich and asked few more questions, and he was very nice and understanding, and not pushy at all!! We ended up going back in that day and buying a new Subaru! Not only was Rich wonderful, but so was the manager, and the financial manager we met with. The whole experience was great! I would recommend anyone who is interested in a Subaru, go into Steven Creek's Subaru and ask for Rich!!! We had a fabulous experience buying our new car... which is amazing because most of the time all you hear about are horror stories when it comes to buying a new car!

SO...I am upgrading my review and increasing the stars to 5. I deleted my old post and m putting this one in it's place. We had a really hard first experience -- but after posting my story they pursued me to make it right and they sure did that. I am pretty tired after a long difficult time, but the new GM went beyond to make things right. They showed me everything -- did our whole deal out in the open and now we have our new start and much MUCH better service. Thank you Brian, Ben and Mandy. You said things had changed there and that things were different and it sure seems to be.

I've been slowly looking for my next car and have had the pleasure of dealing with this dealership again for the last several months as I've been making my decision. I bought my 2003 Subaru Forester from Stevens Creek Subaru and was seriously considering buying my next car through them as well...( I decided on a different make this time for some variety), but can't imagine not being back to Subaru for a future car... My Subaru Forester has 254,000 miles and never had a major problem. The customer service I have received from this dealership both from Masood, my go to guy for buying a Subaru (he has now moved on to a management position and I can only imagine that he will be an influence on others with his manor in sales), and from Chris in service has aways been awesome - helpful, honest. On top of that Masood in sales is also patient, listens, and really wants to help get you into the car that is best for you. Not an ounce of pushiness from him. I have only good feelings about my experience with this dealership - especially because of these two guys. Thank you so much to you both. I look forward to seeing you in the future for another Subaru.

I have dealt with several departments in this dealership and even had someone step up to the plate barking at Subaru of America for me... that's pretty awesome. We will talk about the 2 departments that have noteworthy experiences and probably the only ones anybody wants to hear about NEwho! I'll start with service. 4 year old Subaru, perfectly maintained with a blown head gasket- well 2 of them. What the heck?!? You may ask as I did with anger and teary eyes. I fought for months with Subaru of America, they even told me it had never been serviced at a dealer before, while I held the carfax in my hand detailing visits to dealers in Roseville and such. SOA ended up paying about 65% of it, and Chris really went to bat for me on it. I still think they should have footed the full bill for something so devastating on such a young car, but at least it was something. I could tell if it was up to him, Chris would have repaired the vehicle at company expense, but that's not how it works folks. So my rating for the actual company of Subaru has nothing to do with this- or the stars would probably turn into a star, and that's not fair to the dealership! Back to the point, they got me in a loaner, fixed the heads and I felt like he really cared about my situation and tried hard as he could to make things best for me. Thanks bud! Sales, several months later. So the old car still didn't feel right, no fault to service, I just think the damn thing was a lemon. Getting ready to start school and cut back hours at work on an already paper thin budget, it was time to make or break it. I gave my info to Brian, and also worked with Tim. Both guys worked their tails off to get me where I needed to be to get into a new car and not have to eat top ramen for the duration of the loan for EVERY meal at least hahah. Got me a better rate than I expected, moved everything around to slice, dice and sashimi until things fell just a hair above where I had wanted to be. The reason for that was finance, as I bought a contract to not even have to sneeze at the car for 3 years, thus saving me money anyways. In the end, I know I was a pain in the butt, but I appreciate all their hard work and patience. Oh Manny was my sales guy. Real sweet heart, eager to please with no pressure to do anything. Manny made me feel comfortable and when I got a call that my son had a high fever and I had to high tail it out of there, he rushed to help me transfer my things to my new car to aid my baby boy quickly. Thanks to all you guys too! So I love this dealership, mixed feelings about Subaru, but will continue to buy Subarus from here, so long as this one doesn't lemon out on me! Psssh....by the way the 2013 Legacies are sexy beasts. It grows on me more every day!

The finance manager filled out paperwork for me to get a refund on my pre-paid service for my old Subaru Forester. I didn't think there would be much left, but he encouraged me to submit it just in case. I just got a much bigger check than I expected and I probably wouldn't have bothered if I hadn't been given a nudge. Thank you!

Just got my husband a 2010 Nissan Rogue lightly used there. Mark helped us out and was very friendly and tried to help us get the deal we wanted on our car. Don't get me wrong, still had to haggle and be firm with our terms to get what we wanted from his superior, but overall was a good experience. Hope the car continues to perform well.
