I bought a new car 2013 Forrester here. Ben helped me find the car I want. Love the car. The Dealership provide great customer service, good terms, and good price. I am very happy with my car and very satisfy with the service. I recommend this dealership.
My wife and I shopped around different Subaru dealers in the Bay Area to see who would give us the best deal on a 2013 XV Crosstrek Limited. Hands down, the people at Stevens Creek Subaru treated us the best, met our price, and ordered the exact vehicle that we wanted. Our sales associate, Shane Amirkiai, was polite, professional, and straight-forward with us. Likewise, sales manager Tim Schlak negotiated fairly with us on a price that was significantly lower than quotes we received from two other nearby Subaru dealers. Everyone at Stevens Creek Subaru treated us well. Thanks guys!
I'll preface this review by saying that my rating is tentative. I have only had one experience with Stevens Creek Subaru but it was a very pleasant one. Yesterday (Sunday 3/24), the BF and I came in looking to buy a new car. We arrived around 12:30 and were instantly greeted and helped out. Brad, the salesman who helped us, was genuine, knowledgeable and honest. He definitely had some salesman tricks, but on the whole was quite pleasant to deal with. We told him our budget, what our maximum monthly payment should be, and both of our incomes/credit scores. He promised that he would be able to get us what we needed and we would be able to drive away with the car that day. Brad did not disappoint. After some negotiating, we settled on a price that we were both comfortable with, and a monthly payment we could handle. He didn't try to push us or pressure us which I really appreciated. After agreeing to the new price, we were sent to Abbi (sp@f0) in finance who patiently explained all of the paperwork and answered all of my (stupid) questions. All the papers were signed and we got the keys to our new 2013 Subaru Impreza Sport! (which, btw, is an amazing car, just in case you need one more person to tell you that). So to sum up, we had a great first experience buying from Stevens Creek Subaru but I will update with our experience with the service department when the time comes to service the car. Thanks Brad and Abbi! :)
Chris is amazing. He definitely does everything he can to make sure you have the best experience possible.
I was contacted by Mandy re: my initial review. I appreciate the gesture. It seems that a new management team is in place and are working hard to build up the reputation. I'm not in the market for a car, but I thought I'd stop by and see what has changed. This is more of a 3.5 stars, but because my experience was very limited, I put 3 for now. I pulled in on my motorcycle and was greeted even before I got off the bike by Eric. We did a small talk, I went straight to the point, looking for the BRZ, he took me to 2 cars, informed me that both were sold already. He offered me a test drive the Monday, but I couldn't go. Overall impression is good, definitely better than 5 years ago when I first stopped by. Now if I could suggest how things could be better in general... I prefer to be greeted after I was properly off the bike and had my helmet off. Give people time to gather themselves, have a quick look around and absorb what's going on. It's okay to say hi and introduce one-self, but give them breathing room. Stay within the vicinity, so the prospect knows who to look for when he/she have questions. I think it's okay nowadays to let the customers initiate the next step. Don't offer numbers unless asked. It opens unnecessary can of worms, possibly setting up unrealistic/false expectations down the line. With that said, when asked, be honest about it. The market has changed, buyers are a lot more informed, information are handily available. By the way, sales people loitering outside the showroom door don't look good. It looked like they were birds of prey waiting for their food to walk by. I don't think the high-pressure technique work that well anymore.
Worked with a great sales guy Chip Mille, he was no pressure and really new all the facts about Subaru's, was great working with him. The finance manager Paul Marfia was straight forward did not have to go back and forth on the final price, which is great, I really enjoyed the overall experience with this dealer and its staff, I would recommend Stevens Creek Subaru to anyone looking for a great deal and no pressure zone!! Now I can enjoy my 2013 Outback!!!!
