I test drove a car here today with "Kash". He was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to be with. He is very knowledgeable about the cars and sensible in his advice. There was no pressure at all, and if I decide on a Subaru, it would please me to give my business to Kash.

Interesting to see all these bad posts after having such a great experience; but I must say that I was absolutely thrilled with my buying experience. I dealt with Mark Moore from the beginning and we easily negotiated a great price on a 2011 WRX (lowest I could get in the bay area, even after going to Larry Fung at Carlsen who I had bought an STi from previously, he wouldn't offer me the same deal). After determining the out the door price, the car was ordered without even leaving a deposit, and Mark continually communicated to me throughout the whole process, and sent me email updates with paperwork from Subaru. Once the car arrived he came and picked me up at my house and took me to the dealership. First thing we did was go look at my car that was still being detailed and he wanted me to look for any scratches, chips, dings, or anything I thought was wrong. While doing this I found 3-4 very small chips in the paint on the front bumper (I'm very picky about my cars, and I almost didn't say anything they were so small). But I mentioned them, Mark checked them out, and without prompt stated immediately that he would get me a new front bumper. I said wow that is great but maybe excessive, we could probably work something else out. He said no way, don't worry about it, new bumper is on the way. I was really impressed by the way this was handled; went from a very minor negative into a big positive. After that, the paperwork took all of 30 minutes and I was out the door. great experience, love my new car, and would refer anyone I knew to go speak with Mark Moore. I can't speak for everyone else, but I will definitely be going to see Mark for my next Subaru purchase.

So contrary to most Yelpers out there I had a pretty good experience. I had been searching for a quality WRX STI for quite some time when I saw their listing on Autotrader. The specs were just what I was looking for and the price was definitely right (competitive even w/ private parties w/ the same specs). I decided to call and ended up speaking w/ Mark D. who was courteous and receptive to my inquiry. I setup a test drive, showed up, checked out the car (sweet!!) , told him I was only "looking," test drove it (wow!!), thanked him for his time and left. Unlike my first car purchase (my only other purchase that is), roughly seven years ago, this wasn't a high pressure blitzkrieg or sales attack. One word- pleasant. After viewing two other dealerships and one private party I felt that SCS had the best deal so I went back the next day w/ my wife. No apt- we just showed up. Mark helped again and my wify loved the car so we decided to adopt a 2007 WRX STI!! One other person helped us out to complete the paperwork and finalize the purchase- the finance guy, Erik C, who was also very accommodating and nice. I have to say that it's a rare occasion when I can't find anything to be annoyed w/ during a sales transaction, especially in a big purchase like this, but things worked out just great here and I have no problem recommending this place to other people. I'm not sure if Mark and Eric are the only two decent employees there, but they represented very well. Bravo.

I purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback today, after working over email with Masood Mir. The was definitely one of the more pleasant car buying experiences I've ever had. There were no surprises, they honored the quoted price, and I was driving away with my new car in less than 2 hours.

I just have to say thank you soooooo much to Mark Moore and Erik Chernushin for helping me get my new car. They were so honest and made things so much easier for me. I went to the Subaru on Capitol before and found out they were just screwing with me. I was so lucky to have a friend recommend going to see Mark at Stevens Creek Subaru because he has made me probably the happiest Subaru owner EVER!!! Your defiantly in good hands here :)

I bought my Subaru from Stevens Creek Subaru back in Feb 2010 and it was one of the easiest transactions I have ever done. I had been looking for a new Outback and managed to connect with the internet sales manager at Stevens Creek. He quoted me a price via email which was the best deal I'd seen by far. I set an appointment to meet with him, test drove the car, and then came back the next day to sign papers. There was no slimy pressure and I felt they were extremely professional all around, even the Finance guy (sometimes you get to this stage and they start to jerk you around). Even the trade in value they offered for my car was reasonable. I would absolutely do business again here. As a side note, when a sales person at Capital Subaru contacted me a few days later to try to still earn my business I shared that I'd already bought my car at Stevens Creek. When I told him the price I got it for, his response was, "Well, clearly they don't know the value of what they are selling." But who got the business@f0 I think Stevens Creek knows the value of their customers. Even their service department has been great to deal with so I strongly recommend them overall.
