I originally came in to test drive a used forester. After talking numbers and looking at a few new options I also test drove a new crosstrek. I told Hamid I needed to go over to Toyota and test drive the rav4 before making any decision. I came back the same day and ended up leaving in a 2014 crosstrek with all the things I was looking for in a car. I got great rate on financing and ended up getting a fair price on the car. I used FightingChance.com and CarBargains.org to find the best price in California for a new Forester with the Eyesight safety option. Stevens Creek Subaru had it. I bought a new Forester for $2,000 under the dealer invoice. I don't know what price you would get if you didn't use FightingChance.com or CarBargains.org (I HIGHLY recommend both if you are buying a new car, by the way), but I did and got a hell of a deal.
After contacting Stevens Creek Subaru about a car online I was connected with Shane Amirkiai. I made an appointment with him to test drive a Forester XT. He was knowledgeable and personable. He was able to answer all my questions and helped me find the car that fit my needs. I ended up putting a deposit down on a new car that day. Shane called me when my car came in on an earlier shipment than expected and stayed late so I could drive it home that day. He made the buying experience both easy and a pleasure. I have to say that I was not planning to buy the car that day, but I ended up doing it because everything went really well. At the end, we had to wait a little more on the finance office, but it wall alright.
