I would highly recommend Stevens Creek Subaru and specifically Mike Marsh to anyone in the market for a new car, especially a Subaru. I just recently began searching for a car after I was in a motorcycle accident and decided I needed to keep four wheels on the ground for awhile. At first I thought I wanted an Outback, and test drove one at the Santa Cruz Dealer (I live in Santa Cruz). I liked the car but was not over impressed with it or the sales people at the dealership. I decided to drive over the hill and check out Stevens Creek Subaru, as I knew they had a better inventory after speaking with a very knowledgeable and respectful Internet sales rep named Shane Amirkiai on the phone after submitting an online inquiry. When I got there Shane introduced me to Mike Marsh, who absolutely floored me with his knowledge, passion, and professionalism. I told him I thought the Outback didn't have enough power for me, and that I was looking for something with some more speed but still as much room as an SUV. He immediately suggested that the Forester XT was the car I was looking for, and warned me that if I test drove it I would not be able to live without it. Well, he was absolutely right. The XT drove beautifully, had plenty of space, looked great, and had more than enough power and quickness. It was literally like driving a luxury sports car disguised as an SUV. After the test drive I asked Mike to send me a quote, and he promptly sent me a few options and offered me a great deal on a brand new Forester XT. That same week I received another call from Serramonte Subaru asking about my recent interest in a Subaru, and when I told them about Mike's offer they made me an even lower price (so low they were losing money on the deal just to steal the deal), but I still chose to buy my car from Mike because of his excellent service, integrity, extensive knowledge and passion, and his responsiveness and effort in taking the very best care of me. It says a lot about a salesperson and a dealership when you're willing to pay a little bit more for the same vehicle. But Mike's service and care was well worth it. I couldn't be happier with my new vehicle, and the price I paid. Instead of just trying to make a sale, Mike truly helps you find the vehicle that fits your needs and budget, and that you will enjoy driving. I highly recommend buying any new Subaru, and asking for Mike Marsh at Stevens Creek!

Jose my sales rep was great. He made my first buying experience a lot easier. There was no pressure in buying the car or options from him or the manager, and even Ali the finance person didn't try to up sale me. I knew what I want and what I didn't want. They were willing to work with me, which was great because capital Subaru would not. I recommend going to see jose for any of your needs. We will be back when my father is ready to buy his Subaru.

Working with Matt Kanawyer in internet sales has always been a positive experience. He is very polite, professional and knowledgeable. And I LOVE my new 2015 Subaru Legacy. The reason I'm not giving this dealership 5 stars is because during my first visit (not with Matt) one of the other salesmen just stared at my chest much of the time while he was working with me. Another person on the sales floor also made a somewhat inappropriate remark also. Of all the dealerships I visited while shopping for a new vehicle, this is the only one at which I received this kind of treatment from a salesperson.

Wow good thing I didn't read yelp before I went to look at cars! I must say that my experience wasn't awful! I had a great sales person "Ben". He greeted me when I first walked up and told him I wanted to look around a bit and if I needed help I will come find him. Ben said sure no problem. 10 minutes later I had questions and Ben was in the distance and available. We walked and talk and was very very knowledgeable of the cars. I usually do so much reading and research on my perspective auto that I know more about the car than the sales person. But Ben knew his stuff!!! When I returned to test drive I fell in live with the cross trek. Ben explained everything to me and talked with me to see what the most important features of the car I wanted and made sure I had the perfect match for me to stay within my budget. So if you are thinking of buying a Subaru in the San Jose area ask for Ben when at Stevens Crk Subaru.

Hamid was a great customer advocate from the moment we stepped onto the lot. We had been to several Subaru dealerships in the area looking for a 2015 Impreza, and while other sales associates all tried to sell us the 2014 models, Hamid was the only one who was knowledgeable about the changes made to the 2015 models and gave us an honest assessment of the Impreza vs. Crosstrek vs. Forester. During the negotiation process, Hamid played no tricks and we got exactly what we wanted for the price we wanted (after doing much internet research). Most importantly, Hamid remained a great customer advocate after we purchased our 2015 Impreza--he responds immediately over the phone and resolves any issues (such as a minor missing car part) while you are at the dealership, so you don't have to come back and forth. I would recommend working with him if you are interested in purchasing a car.
