I had recently a great experience at Stevens Creek Subaru. I walked in w/o an appointment for an Outback test drive during the Christmas weekend. I met Frank, who managed to get some time out in between his schedule and let me drove both the 4 and 6 cylinder models. I liked the way I have been welcomed and treated. Also, we had fantastic interactions throughout the purchase period. Obviously, I liked the car too :)

I had a dream, that one day I would buy a brand new Forester. After a terrible experience at Marin Subaru yelp.com/biz/marin-mazda… that dream also became my wife's dream once she test drove and fell in love with the Forester. So after an exhaustive search online, making phone calls, or visiting nearly every single dealership from San Jose to Sacramento, we finally found our new baby at a fair price from Stevens Creek Subaru. I called to confirm availability beforehand since it was going to be a long drive to San Jose from Napa. I was slightly hesitant to buy from Stevens Creek as a long-time member of NASIOC/I-club where their customer service isn't known for excellence. It turns out those hesitations were all for nothing. We were treated with nothing but excellent customer service while we were here. Everyone from our salesman Hamid to the finance guy, got us in and out as quickly as possible. We knew what we wanted and what we didn't. The 0% APR was just icing on the cake. While we ultimately paid slightly more than I would have liked, we didn't haggle the price since I knew it was the only Quartz Blue XT immediately available anywhere within 100 miles. It was still within (or even under) the Truecar price range, so it ended up being a fair deal all around. Hamid did throw in the much needed cargo cover, which I consider a necessity when driving an exposed SUV in the crime ridden Bay Area. I wish I noticed that the all weather floor mat package included in the vehicle didn't include the all weather cargo tray as well. If I did, I would have asked to include that as well in order to be completely satisfied with the price we paid. Since we arrived so late at night, they weren't able to properly detail our vehicle. They offered to give us a free detail anytime we're back in San Jose. I'll be sure that it's after we return from Tahoe... But in actuality it will most likely be when we return for our first free service. So far roughly 500 miles on Blue Beauty and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. I have been bringing in my 2015 Subaru Outback here for 2.5 years and my husband's 2009 Subaru Outback for 6 years. We were always a little learey of car dealerships in the past. Now we are converted! Cost is the same as most offsite repairs and maintenance. They have all the parts and knowledge. The service is fast and friendly. They even repaired a center console that my daughter broke, complimentary - just some missing screws. Troy our service manager was wonderful, fast, friendly. We are very happy with the service
