I walked in here Saturday to "just look around" and see if I have any reason to trade in my Crosstrek, which I got last year. I had just moved in to Milpitas a day before and had used my crosstrek from NJ to Milpitas at a total of 3351 miles, which led to that decision to trade in. I walked in and met Hossain, one of their reps. He was nice and accomodating. I told him because of financial challenges I faced last year, my credit score was bad. However he did not dismiss that and accommodated me based on my issues, anyway. Bottom line, he walked me through my options and offered me to road-test a model I wanted. He was patient and worked with me as I negotiated with the finance person. Hossain was understanding to my needs, especially since i was just moving in and had financial constraints. Fast-forward, I went home with an Outback and left the car that was supposed to have some emotional attachments to me as it took me thousands of miles from where I used to be. After I took the car home, I had some issues that I needed to get addressed like insurance, the window (which apparently was an easy fix) and Hossain was easily reachable and helped me with them. I highly recommend him when you come in and look to find a car. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because I have yet to try their service department. Otherwise, I totally recommend Stevens Creek Subaru.

When I was shopping for a new car, I went to 5 different dealers. I almost bought a Subaru so I visited Steven's Creek Subaru on 4 different days and did a test drive each time. At all the dealerships, I experienced wildly varying levels of service depending on who was assisting me, so I concluded it's important to work with a good salesperson. I liked working with Keana Gonzalez at Stevens Creek Subaru. She was especially helpful and went the extra mile for us. She patiently spent lots of time with us. We went back for a second test drive with her and she made sure the right car was ready for us at our appointment time. At many other dealers they would promise to have the car ready for a test drive at a specific time but when I showed up I had to wait 20 minutes for them to bring it out front. I liked that if Keana didn't know something off the top of her head she would find out right away. At various dealerships I met some salespeople who would just shrug and not bother to find an answer for me. Afterwards, Keana followed up with us but wasn't pushy. For example, I told her I would think it over and she should touch base with me again in a week. She did exactly that. I decided against the Subaru in favor of a car with more headroom, so I can't comment on the ease of price negotiations. I give Stevens Creek Subaru 4 stars because the level of service varies by employee and they don't offer extended test drives or borrowed car agreements. But I give Keana Gonzalez 5 stars for excellent service.
We purchased a Subaru Crosstrek this past weekend from Masood and Shane. We used TrueCar to get a price which we agreed upon before we drove down to pick it up. Since it was our first time seeing the car, we test drove it with Shane, our go to person, and decided it was fine. We went to his office to do paperwork, he showed us various options that came with the car and how much they cost such as the external plans to get music, etc. Very straightforward. Then Shane took us out to the car to go over all the features and show us where all the buttons were and how everything worked. Then we were on our way. Shane was very talkative and friendly during this process and everything went well transaction wise. Since we had agreed on price and financing in advance by email, we didn't have a lot to do when we got there. So all was fine.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I just had the most fun time while purchasing a new Subaru. My past car buying experiences were not like this at all. A big reason for this experience is that I worked with Payman to find the car I wanted and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable not just about Subaru but about all the brands in the class I was looking at and he answered my all my questions. Even better, when I made my decision, he worked to get me a great deal. I did my homework and can say with confidence I got a great price and APR for the car package. Everything was straight forward and stress free. It was really a great experience. I highly recommend Stevens Creek Subaru and Payman!
