The original guy that was helping me online forgot to let me know that he couldn't make it to our appointment.. so that was kind of lame, BUT huge thanks to Shane who took over and helped us from the get-go when we walked in to the dealership. Super chill, no-hassle guy. Had a problem with financing so it took a little longer than I expected (not the dealership's fault), and Shane made sure that I could walk out with my Crosstrek that day. Ali (I think) the financing guy was equally as friendly and made sure the paperwork went through relatively quickly and smooth.
I would highly recommend this branch of suburb, or even more so this specific dealership in general. I went with my friend to help her buy a car considering it was the first time she would be buying one on her own. I scheduled to meet her there because of the connotation of worrying that someone was going to take advantage of her situation and not knowing much about cars. After meeting her up there, I came to find out she was already speaking with a salesman, Gurpreet Grewal. I was already hesitant to follow up on their conversation, but fortunately, we ended up having a great experience. Gurpreet was welcoming, humbling, and easy to talk to. We didn't feel any pressure in buying a car, but most importantly, he spoke to us with sincerity knowing he tried to get us the best deal. All in all, we ended up with a new car, feeling like we didn't get ripped off. I must say being this one of my many experiences at a dealership, this was by far my best. To anyone reading this review, ask for Gurpreet, I'd highly recommend him. Cheers to Suburu for hiring a salesman with a brain and a heart!
I feel like i got the deal I wanted. I was happy that Chris and the team were able to work with me a bit to get my total cost down. Also Finance Manager Ali was helpful as well and very friendly.
I went to visit Stevens Creek Subaru last Saturday with my friend and was greeted by Manny. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the features and technology of different Subaru model line. We test drove a Subaru Outback with eyesight package plus other bells and whistles and we were amazed by how safe the car was. We told Manny the specifications we like and booked the order for the incoming car. Thanks Manny for your patience and professionalism. We definitely will recommend you to our families and friends.
I was quite hesitant about going there in person. I've had a few unpleasant experiences in the past with other dealerships, and wondered if it'd be better to take the online route and do as much as I could without being there myself. Boy I'm glad I didn't. I had a great experience and, got to get so much information which I would have missed had I done things online. Hamid was fantastic. He patiently tolerated my initial lack of trust and made me feel comfortable. He knows a great deal about his stuff and clearly cares about what he does. I wish more people, in any industry, had such level of passion and professionalism. I ended up not going through with the transaction, and I suspected he might be annoyed by that. But his level of friendliness did not alter; he kept up his amicable attitude throughout my visit. Hats off to you buddy for being a good human. EDIT: Upon subsequent visit, my impression has not changed; still excellent service.
I brought my vehicle for first car service and was offered complimentary service including car wash even though I purchased my vehicle from a different dealership. Dante the Service Advisor was professional and listened to my concerns carefully. The service took bit longer than expected and one issue remains open, as lead mechanic wasn't working that day. Some other mechanic tried to help and obviously wasn't knowledgeable enough. I am bit disappointed as I have to bring my vehicle to dealership again, so I hope the appropriate staff is present and issue is resolved quickly.
