Jon was proactive and thorough. He made sure that all of my concerns about my car were addressed, and he did not pressure me to get any work done that wasn't needed. I really appreciate that.
Both Homayoun ("Ben") and Bijan provided exceptionally service and were extremely helpful. They were easily able to answer all of my questions. Going through the process with Ben made the entire experience of buying a new car much more enjoyable and way less stressful than I had expected it would be. Bijan also was very helpful with all of the forms and financial side. Writing this hoping the salespeople read this.I had come with intentions of looking at their inventory and hoping of test driving the WRX.I spent a good 20 minutes looking around and just getting a feel for the cars. I asked to speak to a sales associate and told him I was interested in an STI and asked for a test drive. He said no problem, he'll get us all set up.20-30 minutes go by and the guy disappears and me and my mother were dumbfounded by the unprofessionalism we just experienced.After awhile we were able to speak to someone else who then told us we cannot test drive the WRX or the STI as they are sports cars and are worried about people just driving them for a joy ride, which is bullshit if I'm willing to put 13,000 down on a car, I should be able to test drive it to make sure I enjoy the ride.From a sales point of view I understand why they need to take precautions but overall it was a meh experience.
Salesman was genuinely helpful and knowledgeable. He did not push. When we wanted to return to make a purchase, he was there waiting for us with the vehicle we had expressed interest in set aside for us to look at. We were offered an excellent price right away and did not have to spend time negotiating. I think the service contract is actually worth doing and I am happy about being able to extend the warranty to 100,000 miles. I did not feel like anyone was trying to take advantage of us; I felt like here were people with good cars who were being reasonable about the way they sold them. It was by far our best car purchase experience ever, and we have bought 6 other vehicles in the past. It was also the quickest.
