I had my 30,000 mile service done, as well as windshield wiper blades replaced and a rear window washer nozzle replacement ordered. I'll have to go back for the replacement when that part comes in. The work was done on time, and I'm very happy with the result. I feel confident in the mechanics at this dealership; they take a lot of care in anticipating problems and giving me a heads' up. I have mobility problems, I use a walker, and the service tech took care of me like I might have been his own mom! So kind! He did all the walking, and all I had to do was sit and review and sign paperwork. I bought my Subaru here three and a half years ago (a very good experience), and I also bought a 3-year service contract. While that contract is now expired, the major services -- 30K, 60K, 90K, 120K miles -- were a package deal with no time limit. So I'm very, very pleased with that service contract purchase. Also, because I've had the service contract, I've been in for oil changes, repair of a damaged tire, and whatnot. The service is generally timely, correct, and the mechanics don't inadvertently damage other things (an experience I've had at other dealerships). The way the service department is managed is very professional and efficient; it's a big department, there's a lot going on, and the department has procedures in place to make sure everything is handled correctly. My only (minor) complaints are about the waiting facility. Most of the chairs are too low for me, though they're fine for most people. There's background music, but also a TV playing in the showroom. So, a little too much noise, and not the most comfortable facility. OTOH the free coffee is good.
