Steven’s Creek Subaru Review By Robin R.

I have dealt with several departments in this dealership and even had someone step up to the plate barking at Subaru of America for me... that's pretty awesome. We will talk about the 2 departments that have noteworthy experiences and probably the only ones anybody wants to hear about NEwho! I'll start with service. 4 year old Subaru, perfectly maintained with a blown head gasket- well 2 of them. What the heck?!? You may ask as I did with anger and teary eyes. I fought for months with Subaru of America, they even told me it had never been serviced at a dealer before, while I held the carfax in my hand detailing visits to dealers in Roseville and such. SOA ended up paying about 65% of it, and Chris really went to bat for me on it. I still think they should have footed the full bill for something so devastating on such a young car, but at least it was something. I could tell if it was up to him, Chris would have repaired the vehicle at company expense, but that's not how it works folks. So my rating for the actual company of Subaru has nothing to do with this- or the stars would probably turn into a star, and that's not fair to the dealership! Back to the point, they got me in a loaner, fixed the heads and I felt like he really cared about my situation and tried hard as he could to make things best for me. Thanks bud! Sales, several months later. So the old car still didn't feel right, no fault to service, I just think the damn thing was a lemon. Getting ready to start school and cut back hours at work on an already paper thin budget, it was time to make or break it. I gave my info to Brian, and also worked with Tim. Both guys worked their tails off to get me where I needed to be to get into a new car and not have to eat top ramen for the duration of the loan for EVERY meal at least hahah. Got me a better rate than I expected, moved everything around to slice, dice and sashimi until things fell just a hair above where I had wanted to be. The reason for that was finance, as I bought a contract to not even have to sneeze at the car for 3 years, thus saving me money anyways. In the end, I know I was a pain in the butt, but I appreciate all their hard work and patience. Oh Manny was my sales guy. Real sweet heart, eager to please with no pressure to do anything. Manny made me feel comfortable and when I got a call that my son had a high fever and I had to high tail it out of there, he rushed to help me transfer my things to my new car to aid my baby boy quickly. Thanks to all you guys too! So I love this dealership, mixed feelings about Subaru, but will continue to buy Subarus from here, so long as this one doesn't lemon out on me! Psssh....by the way the 2013 Legacies are sexy beasts. It grows on me more every day!
