I give them a 'woohoo as good as it gets' with the caveat that buying a car just plain sucks no matter what. I hate it!!!! With that in mind, I decided that I was going to call around for a used (2008) Subaru Outback. Each place I told them exactly what I wanted - out the door for $18K including all fees with a max of 20K miles. Ramsin of Stevens Creek looked at his inventory, told me he had what I wanted - he was the only one. Other places told me they just couldn't do it for that price. He sent me the paperwork ahead of time, had the car detailed and ready when we arrived. After a quick test drive, we signed the paperwork and we're done - a total of 1 hour in the dealership. I love the car, and feel good about the price I got. I also feel good that I was not tortured by a car dealership for an entire day. Ramsin was great. The caveat is he told me he is leaving the dealership...oh well.
