This is for the service department only. I had a recall for my Outback, called to make an appointment and it was scheduled for a month out. On the appointed day and time I showed up (with my 6mo old baby), and I was greeted and helped by a service staff member within 5 minutes. After being told it would be a 2-3 hour service I asked if someone could retrieve the stroller from the back of the car since I'd probably just have to walk around Valley Fair for those hours. Some nice person did so and brought me the stroller. So after walking miles and miles at Valley Fair at the three hour mark I returned to the service department. No one had contacted me that anything was ready but I had a tired and cranky baby on my hands. After 30 minutes of waiting in the waiting room I went to go ask about it (total time: 3.5 hours) and almost immediately forms were printed for me to sign and my car was pulled around. Why hadn't anyone contacted me? If I'd been just chilling in the waiting room reading a book and sipping a cup of coffee an extra 30 minutes wouldn't have been a big deal, but to a tired mom and baby it was disappointing and really aggravating. Unfortunately they are essentially the only game in town so for future recalls I guess I'm in the same boat. Presumably the recall repairs were made correctly. Definitely not going there for regular maintenance though. One bright spot: I mentioned a weird problem my automatic seat was having and they reprogrammed it for me.
