I was contacted by Mandy re: my initial review. I appreciate the gesture. It seems that a new management team is in place and are working hard to build up the reputation. I'm not in the market for a car, but I thought I'd stop by and see what has changed. This is more of a 3.5 stars, but because my experience was very limited, I put 3 for now. I pulled in on my motorcycle and was greeted even before I got off the bike by Eric. We did a small talk, I went straight to the point, looking for the BRZ, he took me to 2 cars, informed me that both were sold already. He offered me a test drive the Monday, but I couldn't go. Overall impression is good, definitely better than 5 years ago when I first stopped by. Now if I could suggest how things could be better in general... I prefer to be greeted after I was properly off the bike and had my helmet off. Give people time to gather themselves, have a quick look around and absorb what's going on. It's okay to say hi and introduce one-self, but give them breathing room. Stay within the vicinity, so the prospect knows who to look for when he/she have questions. I think it's okay nowadays to let the customers initiate the next step. Don't offer numbers unless asked. It opens unnecessary can of worms, possibly setting up unrealistic/false expectations down the line. With that said, when asked, be honest about it. The market has changed, buyers are a lot more informed, information are handily available. By the way, sales people loitering outside the showroom door don't look good. It looked like they were birds of prey waiting for their food to walk by. I don't think the high-pressure technique work that well anymore.
